Welcome to L.A.
Warner Home Video
Sleeve Sypnosis:
A young rock composer, Carrol Barber (Keith Carradine), returns to L.A. to discover that an album of his songs is to be recorded by rock superstar, Eric Wood. Finding out that his father persuaded Wood to record the songs, Carroll tries to salvage his wounded pride through a series of one night stands.
Finally, he embraces what he knows now to be his fate, and sitting at his piano, starts to sing his own compositions. Produced by master film-maker Robert Altman, 'Welcome to L.A.' carefully dissects a world of fragile egos and one nightlove affairs in an often funny, sad and brutal expose of a world most of us can only ever dream about.
