'Willie Boy' is an exciting western chase story that deals sensitively with the treatment of the Indians by White Man. Based on a real life incident, it is the story of Paiute Indian, who kills his father of the girl he has asked to marry. However, although the killing was not pre-meditated, because it took place on the white man's land. Willie Boy (Robert Blake) is forced to run away from the authorities rather than face the rest of his life in jail. The action takes place in 1909, when President Taft is on a speech making tour of Southern California, and because Willie Boy is so resourceful at envading his persuers (headed by Robert Redford), rumours reach the press about an Indian uprising and an attempt to assassinate the president. © Universal Pictures.
