Her curioisty draws her on until she is unexpectedly felled by a protective force field, which leaves her unconscious. Despite all the efforts, the doctor is unable to reverse the coma... Future's End Stardate earth year 1996 Voyager encounters a temporal rift, and is suddenly under attack from the Federation time ship, Aeon. The Aeon's captain declares his mission is to destroy Voyager, in order to prevent Earth's destruction in the 29th Century. Janeway retalates in defence, but as both ships engage in a fierce battle they are drawn into the rift and hurtled back to Earth and 1996...
