The Music Machine, London's funkiest disco, holds a competition to find two bright new dance stars for a multi-million pound musiical film. The rivalry between dance couples is intensified by the potential of stardom. Gerry Pearson (Gerry Sundquist) enters with his dance partner, a close friend's girl. They make it through to the finals before Gerry's friend becomes jealous, leaving him without a partner. Gerry is teamed up with Clare (Patti Boulaye), a sexy 'rich girl' looking for some fun and games. They work out together late into the night as the race is on to learn the routines in time, but someone clearly doesn't want them to enter, let alone win...!
