Sleeve Sypnosis:
Three young American housewives (JAMIE LEE CURTIS, KAREN VALENTNE, LINDA PURL) all have one thing in common: they desperately need money. One to pay college fees for a new life, one to support a disabled son, one to break free of an ignorant and brutish husband.

To a common problem, they find the same answer: they become spare-time prostitutes under the control of a ruthless, amateur 'madam' (SUSAN FLANNERY). It's a course that leads to personal tragedy and social disgrace for them all.
