A Man Called Sledge

Outlaw Luther Sledge (James Garner) sets out with his bandit gang to steal a half a million dollar consignment of gold bullion which is shipped each week through a small western town. His plan is to steal the gold from within the local prison where it is stored overnight; as a diversion he arranges a riot inside prison. This daring escapde leads to a sequence of betrayals and a violent trail of vengeance across the Mexican border.
