In an eerie Yorkshire mansion, Professor Phillip works on revolutionary new theories relating to the muderous instincts of chimpanzees. Helping with these controversial experiements is American Zoology student Jane Chase. On the brink of a major breathrough, he disappears leaving Jane in charge of his three simian wards-Link, who keeps the house in order, Imp, a technological and computer genius, and Carrie, an ape too violent to be let out of her cage. Jane is convinced he will return, but suddenly visitors to the house start vanishing without trace. And when she finally realises the shocking secret why, it may just be too late to combat the savage instinctive laws of the jungle.
