When Dublin baker Bimbo Reeves loses his job, he uses his redundancy money to buy a fish 'n' chip van and takes on his best friend Larry as a partner. In the 1990 World Cup season they go on the road to make their fortune armed with plenty of advice from Bimbo's wife.
