Stingray Vol.3 - Sea of Oil/Treasure Down Below/The Golden

SEA OF OIL Misunderstangings abound when Stringray investigates the destruction of an oil drilling rig. Atlanta is kidnapped by the aliens responsible, whose home is being disturbed by the drilling. Believing that Stingray will destroy their city, they plant a bomb primed to explode when the craft submerges. A cheeky seal saves the sub and is adopted by its crew. Troy, convinced that Atlanta's kidnappers are dangerous, tries to blow up their craft, but disaster is averted by Atlanta's quick thinking. TREASURE DOWN BELOW Phones thinks he has a bargain when he buys a treasure map, but Troy refuses to take Stingray on a treasure hunt, Marina, however, secretly alters their course taking them into the area on the map, where they are dragged by a whirlpool into an undersea cavern packed with treasure. The fishpeople who live in comfort on these shipwrecked goods have no wish to share their prizes. Another prisoner alerts their captives when Troy escapes, Phones and Marina are in danger unitl he returns to save the day, though not, alas, the treasure. THE GOLDEN SEA A team of scientists are making gold from seawater, and Stingray and the scientists using a giant swordfish attracted by a sounder which he plants on the scientists bathyscape. Troy, however, manages to catch Titan in his own trap, and the underwater dictator has a shocking experience. © ITC Entertainment
