Sleeve Sypnosis:
Sam McCloud is back. . .but this time he's a lawmaker intead of a lawman. As a junior senator from New Mexico, McCloud is passionately concerned about the effects of chemicals on both people and the enviroment. These political issues merge with his own personal concern when his research assistant niece is murdered in London after finding out too much about her employer - a major pharamceutical company called Chemtel.

McCloud takes off to London to hunt down his niece's murderer and immediately gets caught in an international conspiracy of deciet and murder. Enlisting the help of some old friends, McCloud sets out in the only way he knows how to track down the conspirators and bring them to justice in his own inimitable way.
