Pure honest to goodness (although not too much goodness) British farce. Nervous Ronnie Corbett is a bank clerk who is thrown into confusion when a parcel of dirty postcards arrives at the bank. His employer, bombastically portrayed by Arthur Lowe, just so happens to be ab anti-pornography campaigner; and when further parcels containing blue films and pornographic offensive material without arousing suspicion. Based on the long running London stage play, this series of compromising situations and mistaken identity owes a great deal to the traditional British farce, it is a classic of British comedies, complete with the timely falling of trousers and verbal innuendo. © BHP Films and Columbia Pictures.
