The underworld organisation with agents throughtout [sic] the U.S. wants a slice of Abe Stiberman's Las Vegas Casino Royal. They send Charlie Adamo - who runs the west Coast operation - from San Francisco to Las Vegas where he gets a firm 'No' from Stiberman, despite Adamo's threats. Undeterred, Adamo plans to break into the Casino safe and steal the two million dollars kept there.

He gets together with Jack McCain who has recently been sprung from jail and the two plan the robbery, even though Jack mistrusts Adamo. Back in San Francisco, Adamo is warmed off by the organisation and must contact Jack's father - Machine Gun McCain - to stop the planned heist. Eventually, Adamo meets McCain and Jack, but Jack reveals that Adamo's men are laying in wait. McCain manages to turn the tables on the ambushers and kills them, but not before Jack has been liquidated. McCain makes it a point of honour to go through with the hold-up and, pretending to be a fireman, gets into the Casino...
