Honeysuckle Rose
Warner Home Video

Sleeve Sypnosis:
With a voice like honey spattering on glass Buck Bonham is a star from Cut-and-shoot, Texas, to the Colorado border. His gigs sell out at raucous night spots like the Soap Creek Saloon, Crazy Bob's and the Lumber Yard, but the big time, with hit records and a TV showcase, still eludes him.
He has a comfortable home in Texas and a loving wife, Viv, who resents the many times they have to be apart while Buck is on the road. Viv's suspicions that her husband may not always be faithful while he's away intensify during a family reunion when Buck performs a duet with Lily, daughter of his lead guitarist Garland Ramsey.
Garland is hankering after leaving the band and Buck suggests that Lily, starry-eyed and fresh out of college, replaces her father on guitar until another musician from Nashville can join the tour. Lily is initiated into the life on the road. As she and Buck become lovers the electricity between them flows into their stage on-stage perormance.
The manager of a disgruntled musician tells Viv about the affair. Totally enraged, she arrives without warning at a concert, strides onto the stage, and to a shocked and bewildered audience makes a special kind of speech. . .
