THE HIDING PLACE
This is the remarkable true story of World War II. The war has burst over Holland, and the Nazis have taken over. The watchmaker's shop of the Ten Boom family becomes the centre of an underground cell aiding Jewish escapees from Nazi victimisation. Corrie Ten Boom works secretly to shelter them from Hitler's regime and organises their escape from the country. Eventually the Gestapo discovers the operation and raids the house, sending the whole family to concentration camps.
Corrie and her sister are brutally treated in horrific conditions. Only their faith protects them. Tragically her sister dies, but Corrie is released through an adminstrative mistake and escapes to tell one of the most amazing stories of the Second World War.
