KEY WITNESS - AND THEY ALL WANTED HER KILLED Laconic Police officer Ben Shockley is sent by Lt. Commander Blakelock to Las Vagas to extradite 'Gus' Mally, an apparently unimportant witness for a small-time trial. Mally pleads with Shockley not to take her because 'they' will kill her - and him - once she is outside the safety of her cell. Shockley is unimpressed by her hysteria until the drive to the airport triggers a series of dramatic events. They are attacked variously by a black sedan, a helicopter, and even the police themsleves. It becomes clear that they are up against much more than 'The Mob', but Shockley tells Blakelock he intends to deliver his witness at the Phoenix City Hall, specifying the exact route he proposes taking. Making it to Phoenix proves even more terrifying than Shockley could have imagined. © Warner Bros Inc
