Fragment of Fear

When they decide to kill you ...will you know where? ...will you know how? ...will you know why? The brutal murder of his aunt in the picturesque ruins of Pompeii leads an author on a terrifying journey into fear. Furious with ineffectual police efforts to find the killers, Tim (David Hemmings) starts his own investigation. But in doing so he opens the door on horrors that rival the most harrowing halucinations of his drug taking past. Tim's life descends into a nightmare of threatening phone calls, mysterious notes and physical violence. His wife Julie (Gayle Hunnicutt) and the police don't believe him and Tim's mounting paranoia carries him to the very brink of madness.
