Sleeve Sypnosis:
In just one night, he's seen his past, his present and his future...
and they've all come back to haunt him.
Charles Dickens' timeless classic A Christmas Carol is a story about hope, christmas cheer and the uplifting power of spirit
BAH! HUMBUG! IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE, AND HEARTLESS Bmiser Ebenezer Scrooge (Patrick Stewart) is still in his freezing office. Ever since the death of his longterm friend and business partner, Jacob Marley, seven years before, he has become mean and miserable inflicting pain and suffering on all those around him; in particular his loyal, but meek clerk, Bob Cratchit (Richard E. Grant). To Scrooge, Christmas and all its sentiments is especially unbearable.
But while skulking from the season's good cheer, he is disturbed by the rattling of chains and sees before him the ghost of Jacob. Marley warns Scrooge that unless he changes his ways, he too will have to repay for the suffering he causes others. Three further spirits come to visit him during the long night; The Ghost of Christmas Past, The Ghost of Christmas Present and The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come and Scrooge is given the ultimatum...
A Christmas Carol also includes appearances from top British acting talent including Edward Petherbridge, Celia Imrie, Liz Smith, Trevor Peacock, Ian McNeice and Saskia Reeves.
