John is a normal healthy teenager, who outside his studies divides his time, between football, playing classical violin and chasing girls. John has one physical defect, a hearing problem, the result of a swimming accident. Despite his great talent on the field he is dropped from the football team because of this problem. From this moment on John's world falls apart and he begins to mix with the drop outs of the town.
