Children of a Lesser God

Sleeve Sypnosis:
Love has a langauge all of its own.
'Children of a Lesser God' is a poignant, touching love story for which Marlee Matlin in her portrayal of Sarah justifiably won the 1987 Academy Award for Best Actress.
Sarah is a young, beautiful, deaf and dumb girl, who leaves school with a huge chip on her shoulder, and with the knowledge that sex needs no conversion. James, sensitively portrayed by William Hurt, is the unorthodox, likable schoolmaster, whose job is to teach people hard of hearing to speak.
'Children of a Lesser God' is their story, an experience far greater than words.
