Ballad of Cable Hogue, The
Warner Home Video

Sleeve Sypnosis:
Left to die by his two prospecting partners, Cable Hogue starts his long walk across the parched Arizona landscape. After a few days at the mercy of the sun he can barely crawl or summon up enough spit to curse his bushwacking colleagues. It is then that Hogue stumbles upon something more precious than gold itself-a water hole. Soon, Hogue is making his fortune selling water to thirsty travellers along the stagecoach trail and 'Cable Springs' is born.
But he never forgets the desert rats who betrayed him and patiently he waits for the day they will drop by for a drink... Starring Jason Robards, Stella Stevens, The Ballad of Cable Hogue is a wry and lyrical ode to the pioneering spirit of the old Wild West.
